Treatment of urinary tract diseases

Apie paslaugas

Urinary tract diseases are not the most dangerous, but if left untreated, they can cause extremely serious complications. According to statistics, every tenth adult suffers from a chronic kidney or urinary tract disease. These diseases are insidious – they are difficult to detect, since most of them do not cause any symptoms, the latter become apparent when the disorder becomes old.

Cystitis

Cystitis is the medical term for inflammation of the bladder. Most often, inflammation is caused by a bacterial infection, which is called a urinary tract infection. A bladder infection can be painful and annoying, and if the infection spreads to the kidneys, it can become a serious health problem. Less commonly, cystitis can occur as a reaction to certain medications, radiation therapy, or potential irritants such as feminine hygiene products, spermicides, or long-term use of a catheter.

Cystitis can also occur as a complication of another disease. The usual treatment for bacterial cystitis is antibiotics. Treatment for other types of cystitis depends on the underlying cause.

Simptoms

Signs and symptoms of cystitis often include:

A strong, constant urge to urinate;

Burning sensation when urinating;

Frequent, small amounts of urine;

Blood in the urine (hematuria);

Cloudy or strong-smelling urine;

Pelvic discomfort; A feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen;

Slight fever;

In young children, new episodes of random urination during the day can also be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI).

Nocturnal bedwetting is likely unrelated to cystitis.

When to see a doctor?

Get medical help right away if you have signs and symptoms of a kidney infection, including:

Back or side pain;

Fever and chills;

Nausea and vomiting;

If you have urgent, frequent or painful urination that lasts for several hours or more, or if you notice blood in your urine, see a urologist.

If you have been diagnosed with cystitis in the past and develop symptoms that mimic previous cystitis, see your doctor.

Also see your doctor if your cystitis symptoms return after you finish a course of antibiotics. You may need a different type of medication. If your child starts urinating during the day, see your pediatrician.

Treatment of chronic cystitis with instillations

Bladder inflammation (cystitis) can be treated in a variety of ways – medication, and we also offer innovative treatment – instillation, during which drugs are injected into the bladder through a catheter to treat the disease. eter) inserted through the urethra. These are so-called bladder instillations or intravesical instillations. This chronic cystitis treatment is special in that: By modulating the activity of mast cells, it suppresses pathological inflammatory processes in the damaged bladder mucosa and stops the breakdown of GAG Supports the covering function of the urothelium and improves the bioadhesion of adelmidrol The procedure is short and painless Scientifically proven to work

INSTYLAN, sterile solution based on hyaluronic acid 0.16% for instillation into the bladder
