* The price is adjusted during the consultation.

** Initial plastic surgeon consultation – €60. Initial dermatologist consultation – €50. During it, the doctor individually selects the most appropriate treatment method.

What is the procedure?

Initially, a consultation with a doctor is carried out, who evaluates the scar and chooses the treatment. If scars are treated with radio frequency, the doctor massages the problem area with a special electrode to stimulate regenerative processes. When removing scars with a fractional laser, the tip of the device is aimed at the location of the scar and is worked on until the scar is removed.

Visible result after several procedures?

The number of procedures depends on the type, freshness, depth and individual physical characteristics of the scar – some scars require one procedure to be removed, while others may require more than five sessions, so the exact number of procedures is determined by the doctor. It is recommended to perform the procedure in autumn or winter, when there is no active sun. How long is the procedure? Scar removal can last from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area, depth and nature of the scar.

Scar removal

The resulting scar takes about 12 months to form and is considered fresh during this period. When treating a scar with laser or radio frequency, the scar is more beautiful, more regular, brighter and less visible or barely visible. Treatment of scars in the intimate area in women improves sexual relations, psychological condition and quality of life. There are more ways to remove and treat scars – injection procedures, healing patches, ointments. The doctor chooses the most suitable method of scar treatment. Gynecologist Lina Mockevičienė treats Caesarean and intimate area scars, and plastic and reconstructive surgery doctor Inga Guogienė, dermatovenerologists Gintarė Linkevičiūtė and Eglė Zinkevičienė treat other areas.

Fractional CO2 laser effectively removes old scars by grinding their surface or creating microcolumns in the skin that are filled with collagen, thus renewing the dermis layer. Fractional laser makes the scar smoother, softer, more elastic, significantly reduces its brightness, unifies the color of the scar and the surrounding skin. By starting to treat the scar before it is finally formed, the scar becomes much less noticeable or barely visible in the future.

The INDIBA® radio frequency machine safely treats fresh scars even in intimate areas, for example in women after a perineal tear or a haircut. The 448 kHz radio frequency stimulates collagen production, cell proliferation and other regenerative processes that promote faster scar healing, reduce pain, swelling and the likelihood of inflammation. By starting to treat the scar before it is finally formed, the scar becomes much less noticeable or barely visible in the future. Radio frequency promotes faster healing of the scar, relieves pain, reduces swelling and the risk of inflammation.
