“I’m here to help.”

“One of my favorite painters has said that a painting is beautiful only at a certain moment, in a certain environment and only for a certain person. That’s how I am, working in a job I love and surrounded by a professional team. Although every woman has to deal with gynecological problems at least once, for many of them it still remains an unpleasant topic that they are shy to talk about. Symptoms caused by unreasonable fear are ignored and treatment is too late. Therefore, your duty is to monitor your body and unwanted symptoms, and mine is to listen to you and help you” – obstetrician-gynecologist Violeta Tamulienė.

Maternity Care Program

The weeks of pregnancy are divided into trimesters: the first – up to 12 weeks of pregnancy, the second – 13-28 weeks and the third – 29-40 weeks. Sokrato Clinica’s pregnancy program is based on the description of health care procedures for pregnant women, mothers and newborns valid in Lithuania. Based on the requirements for health screening of pregnant women, all necessary tests and consultations are carried out. Sokrato Clinica’s pregnancy program is unique in that we offer an early genetic test as early as the 10th week – a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) that particularly accurately assesses the unborn fetus’s risk of the most common genetic diseases from fetal DNA (cffDNA) in the mother’s blood. With normal results, you can be sure and reassure yourself that the most common genetic abnormalities are not present. The program also includes additional postpartum counseling.
